Ghibli Favorites~?
For me it's really hard to choose but I do have my favorites. It is safe to say all of Hayao Miyazaki's & Ghibli's creations count amongst the cutest on this planet and if you were not already a fan of (or didn't know about) studio ghibli's work in 2009, you were after seeing ponyo (which happend to a lot of the kids in my class).
My first studio Ghibli was "Princess Mononoke" it was even in cinemas and one of the best experiences I had with my Drea (bestie). I immediately fell in love with with the Kodama~
I think out of all the ghibli movies it is my favorite. I must say I especially the the soundtrack. *got it on ipod*
Yes all of my favorites in one post... well nearly. ^^
Its
[I really can't wait to get my Ghibli sleeve.]
Girly Backflash #1: Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon
I used to be obsessed with this show. Why? Because it was so cute, girly and awesome I can't believe it is not showing on tv anymore. I guess you can say I still love reminiscing watching the show. Further more you cant help but love Naoko Takeuchi's character designs. And you may definitely not forget her amazing shoujo manga. (I have always envied her talent for drawing cute magical girls.)
A few days ago one of my lovely besties sent me a hilarious you tube videos that brought back memories.

Cute tattoos~
I am in love with tattoos~ Especially colorful ones.
I myself only have one. (the other three being traditional black and white.) I did want to share some of the tattoos I found online though. I think they are wonderful. (makes me want to go right back to planning my ghibli sleeve.)

new find~ Kazuko Taniguchi
Kazuko Taniguchi achieved her illustration carrier by designing CD sleeves, fliers, cut illustrations for magazines, and postcard designs. She likes to draw cute and slim girl dressed in traditional Japanese Kimono clothes as well as anything shiny or floral. Her detailed illustration are highly original, and always manage to stand out amongst the vast amount of “cute” illustrations by other talented artists like herself.
Personally the colors and her way bringing a curtain feeling into the painting attract me the most.

Cute meets Creepy, Deranged and Sexually Provocative
Junko Mizuno (it's a link to her blog since her website is under construction) is one of my favorite artists. I have been DIEING to post her. Her works are unique, spicy and absolutely adorable. I love it how they are so very disturbing at the same time. I got hooked on her works a few years ago when my aunt bought me her book 'Pure Trance'. (I think i was about 16 at the time)
Let me warn you now it is nothing for people that are easily offended.
Her art tends to be rather explicit BUT definitely addicting.

New Game On Pre-Order!! //BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger\\
MORE GAMES FOR MARLEY~
I'm so exciteddddddd~ I got a new game on pre-order that will, hopefully, blow my mind! I'm talking about the new game: BlazBlue Calamity Trigger. You know what makes it even more exciting then just any plain ol' beat-em-up??? It's by the guys that brought us the kick ass game series Guilty Gear. Very hot, I know. Now for those of you that have not clue what I am talking about: Guilty Gear is one of the best 2D beat-em-up's (fighting games) that has ever been brought into exsistance. From the game play to the graphics the games have always been top notch. And the character designs are to die for. (No not cute... none of my games are I am afraid. They are more kick ass... literally. ;P)
[Guilty Gear 10 for ps2]
BlazBlue, expected to come out 2 April 2010 in the Netherlands (and I believe all of Europe) is a totally new, fresh addition towards the 2D beat-em-up gaming genre. Well that is UNLESS you are the boyfriend of a curtain best friend, and have the imported Japanese version at home since god knows how long. Yes I am Jealous.
Though I must say I haven't gotten to see it up close and personal yet I am already in love with the character designs and the in game screen shots. I'm all for the color, the fast flashes across the TV screen and of course the Guilty Gear styled music.
My favorite design?
Taokaka~ the weird psycho cat girl.
I am definitely debating about getting the cosplay costume. I love the sinister 'cuteness' of the character. The discription that is given her character on the BlazBlue blog (english) is:
Well there isn't much more I can add to it seeing I havent played the game yet. However If you guys want to check out the websites I'll post them at the bottom of the post, right after the screens.

Taokaka - A would-be 'vigilante', if she knew what that word meant, she has been sent by her village to capture 'Rawrgna' to get lots of money.
Rawrgna better known as Ragna the Bloodedge, who can probably be seen as the main protagonist of the game since all characters are in some way linked to him.Well there isn't much more I can add to it seeing I havent played the game yet. Mangaka of the Month:: Ai Yazawa
So first a little intro on the 'Manga-ka of the month' entry. This is where I want to share my favorite manga-ka with you guys. Some are cute, some just plain awesome (less cute) but for the sake of pretty shoujo girls and amazing character designs I will start with: AI YAZAWA!
This is one of the manga artists you should absolutely get to know if you haven't already. She wrote:

My favorite Manga series by Yazawa is, by far, Paradise Kiss. It's cute, amazing art, great story and it brought my back to shoujo Mangas.

TV-less Glory and all the good things it brings
So here's the thing; my tv decided to go on strike to day... I have absolutely NO MORE channels. How ever on the up side that gives me time for other things. Such as surfing the net and looking for cute accessories for my Nintendo DS. (seeing that it looks plain and chewed up... especially on the picture.) I must say I found some really cute examples. <3
I really can not wait to decorate my ds-lite. There are so many options.
