New Game On Pre-Order!! //BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger\\

MORE GAMES FOR MARLEY~

I'm so exciteddddddd~ I got a new game on pre-order that will, hopefully, blow my mind! I'm talking about the new game: BlazBlue Calamity Trigger. You know what makes it even more exciting then just any plain ol' beat-em-up??? It's by the guys that brought us the kick ass game series Guilty Gear. Very hot, I know. Now for those of you that have not clue what I am talking about: Guilty Gear is one of the best 2D beat-em-up's (fighting games) that has ever been brought into exsistance. From the game play to the graphics the games have always been top notch. And the character designs are to die for. (No not cute... none of my games are I am afraid. They are more kick ass... literally. ;P)

[Guilty Gear 10 for ps2]

BlazBlue, expected to come out 2 April 2010 in the Netherlands (and I believe all of Europe) is a totally new, fresh addition towards the 2D beat-em-up gaming genre. Well that is UNLESS you are the boyfriend of a curtain best friend, and have the imported Japanese version at home since god knows how long. Yes I am Jealous.
Though I must say I haven't gotten to see it up close and personal yet I am already in love with the character designs and the in game screen shots. I'm all for the color, the fast flashes across the TV screen and of course the Guilty Gear styled music.

My favorite design?
Taokaka~ the weird psycho cat girl.
I am definitely debating about getting the cosplay costume. I love the sinister 'cuteness' of the character. The discription that is given her character on the BlazBlue blog (english) is:
Taokaka - A would-be 'vigilante', if she knew what that word meant, she has been sent by her village to capture 'Rawrgna' to get lots of money.
Rawrgna better known as Ragna the Bloodedge, who can probably be seen as the main protagonist of the game since all characters are in some way linked to him.

Well there isn't much more I can add to it seeing I havent played the game yet. However If you guys want to check out the websites I'll post them at the bottom of the post, right after the screens.

It has begun: God of War 3

So I just started playing the God Of War for playstation 3 (only). I must say I am peeved that internet connection is not worth shit so... no fun downloads for me. (big no no much to my displeasure.) First thing I noticed when starting the game... you cant skip the intro/credits. So if you have played the games prior to GoW3 (which I suggest other wise the game will be slightly confusing) you will be told what you already know. Making it a a slight drag. BUT alas no chance of skipping.
So once you have finally gotten to the title screen (which displays an amazingly textured portrait of Kratos. I missed him.) It seems like forever but no worries its all worth it.
----
for people that love pretty title menus:
/Ignore the horrible written menu on the left side of the screen.\
----
You start right where the 2nd game stopped, on the shoulder of the big pms-ing titan. (Gaia) Big plus for me cause I could have thrown my PS2 out of the window after the ending of GoW2. (cliff hangers + marley = not good)
GoW3 like the other 2 has a very linear story lie & game play. There are multiple invisible walls to run into and there is no way you can move the camera angles. Which further in the game will surely kick my butt over and over. But the good thing is that falling off a cliff isn't really an option either. Believe me I have tried.
The game is mainly hack and slash; gore with a hint of a storyline every now and then. Or at least at the beginning. I love getting back the original feeling of playing God of War.
However I have high hopes for this game. :)

It's Game Paradise 2010

It has been exactly one weeks since Final Fantasy XIII has come out and I must say it is a jewel amongst RPG's. But who am I kidding Square has barely ever disappointed. Personally I think if you leave final Fantasy XI and XII out of the picture, the team of Square Enix have made sure to make a perfect run. With the exceptions of those two games the Final Fantasy series has been flawless. XIII being a perfect addition to add to its riches, starting with the concept art of Tetsuya Nomura, Nao Ikeda and Isamu Kamikokuryou and continuing all the way to the fine tuning of the CG animation; the game is visually orgasmic and addicting to the very last second.

Though the game play has slightly changed, not only due to the battle system, and seems slightly more linear then the rest. It doesn't take away from the traditional Final Fantasy feel of the game. BE WARNED, however that the game has seriously long cinematic at the beginning and will seem quite simple. None the less, I can promise it is only a minor flaw, totally compensated for by the visual beauty and amazing storyline.

With a wide range of characters that, no matter if they are good or evil, all look like super models. It's hard not to loose track of the transition of film-sequence to actual game play seeing the quality of the graphics can barely be differentiated. It never gets boring and although, in my opinion, Snow is obsessed; Vanilla has an annoying voice and Hope reminds me of Zexion from kingdom hearts (who, not only has a m.i.l.f. for a mother (as my friends kindly put it) but also is the true Emo of the game.)
Its amazing to see that Square always has a surprise up their sleeve.

This game is definitely what every gamer, geek and Square fan has been waiting for.

Buy it, Play it, Love it...
You know you want to. <3
